All the experiments were closely supervised and used dry ice, corn syrup, glycerine, washing-up liquid and water.
The dry ice was only handled directly by trained grown-ups.
Everyone wonders what is in the box
Must be dangerous - it needs gloves!
A balloon inflating itself using dry ice
Making the bubble mix - water, washing-up liquid and glycerine
Adding dry ice to the bubble mix
Huge bubbles - great for halloween
Loading a balloon with dry ice using a tube - keeps the hands safe and the balloon neck open
Feeling the frosty bubbles
See the balloons growing all by themselves
And they get bigger and bigger
Seeing the dry ice melting straight from solid to gas
Our super bubble mix using corn syrup
Filling the giant bubble maker with mix
It's the boy in the bubble
And the girl in the bubble
We even put Nicola in the bubble
Mad scientist coffee - just like Heston Blumenthal makes
Pass the balloon around, watch it grow
