Admissions to Club 0-14
Babies, toddlers and Preschool (nursery place)
We aim to make our setting as accessible and flexible to families as possible. We are registered to care forchildren from birth; normally we would accept a child from 6 weeks.
- Our baby room is for children from 6 weeks to rising 2. Children move to the toddler room dependant on their individual development and after discussion with parents
- Our toddler room is for children aged 2 to 3 years and again children may move to the preschool room before the age of 3 years if suitable for their individual development
- Our preschool room is for children 3 years old until they start school full time.
Free funded hours
We offer free funded hours in our toddler room and preschool, subject to criteria for LEA grant funding. 2year olds may be eligible for ‘24U’ funding – up to 12 hours a week and 3 years old are eligible the term after their 3rd birthday – up to 15 hours a week during term time.
The free hours are available to all families and you can book just the free funded hours, you do not need to
pay for any other sessions.

Before, after school and holiday club
Places in our before school, after school and holiday club are booked on a first come first serve basis, however children who are starting school in September and have moved on from our nursery will be given priority, especially if they have siblings attending the setting.Before school includes breakfast, which is a choice of cereals, toast or fruit.
After school includes a snack which various each day, but includes selection of sandwiches, fruit, cracker
breads and dips, pancakes, malt loaf and teacakes.
In holiday club the children have a variety of activities to take part in each day and outings are arranged to
various exciting places, such as the zoo, cinema, bowling, and the beach. All snacks, drinks and meals are
provided for you. There is a copy of a holiday schedule in the prospectus to give you a better idea of the type of activities taking place at Club 0-14.
Management and administration
We are committed to providing a good quality, flexible and affordable nursery and out of school club; we pride ourselves on our attention to safety and our expertise in early years and playwork.Liz Smith-Keitley – founder and director is fully supported by an excellent management team and a team of
highly qualified staff, who are committed to providing the very best care and education for all children at the
setting.
We have high staff to child ratios to ensure your child receives individual attention for their needs and
development. Our managers are qualified to degree level, all other staff are qualified to at least level 3 in early
years. All staff hold an enhanced CRB clearance and hold Paediatric first aid, Food hygiene and child
protection qualifications. We also encourage volunteers and college/university students at the setting, so that
we can mentor the next generation of childcare professionals.
