Comic Relief

2013

 

We did lots of fun activities throughout the week to help raise money for comic relief!

Babies, Toddlers and Pre-school all made some cakes for our cake sale. Jade and Scarlot help mix in the ingredients.

We had a super hero's day, where all the children come in dressed up as there favourite. Kieran and Oscar look great!

We had a dance-a-thon with Emma from diddi-dance all the children got sponsored.

 

People who help us

Police visit

 

Our theme for February was people who help us. We looked at all the people in our lives and communities who help us every day. We discussed doctors and nurses, vets and paramedics. We also talked about how our friends and families are there to help us if we need it.

 

On the 26th of February we received a visit from a special constable called Paul. Paul is also Alfie's Daddy.

The pre-school all really enjoyed their visit from Paul and learned a lot about what the daily job of a policeman involves.

 

We would like to say a big thank you to Paul for taking the time to come and talk to us and show us some of his equipment.

Diddi Dance Country Theme

Here at Club 0-14 we have been having a great start to the new year with Diddi Dance. This terms theme is Country and we have been very busy preparing for the class.

We made our very own cowboy hats. We used card to cut out the shape of a hat and then made bands to fit around our heads. We had lots of fun making them and think they look great.

This term our theme for the stay and play date was Diddi dance

Emma from Diddi Dance comes to see us every Tuesday and we love to join in and dance

Emma has a different theme for us each term and so far we have enjoyed Disco and Hip hop

Amy, Sarah and the children enjoy using the pom-poms given to them by Emma

For our stay and play we wanted the parents to come along and enjoy Diddi Dance with the children
