Wildlife Centre Visit

On Thursday 27th February 2014 the babies and toddlers went to the wildlife centre in Abbey foregate.

To fit in with our houses and homes themes we went to look at the wildlife centre for gardens and animal habitats.

Planting

We have been busy this week planting our potatoes. We all had a pot and Michelle helped us all do our own.

We put the compost in and planted the seeds and then patted the compost down.

We put labels in them and we gave them some water.

We will remember to water them every day to make sure that they grow.

RAMP UP THE RED

RAMP UP THE RED
We had a ramp up the red day here at nursery on Friday 7th February between 9am-11am to help support and raise money for the British Heart Foundation. We did lots of different fun activities which all the children, parents and staff enjoyed.
All the staff and children wore red today to celebrate and help raise money.

A lady come in to do Zumba with the children and parents everyone joined in.

They did lots of dancing games to get our hearts pumping!

The parents had to do a dance move then we all copied.

After all that dancing we had a snack we had all red food!

We had some cakes donated to sell to raise more money by our kind staff and parents.

All the children enjoyed the red food and drinks.
So far we have raised £50.37 for this charity. We would like to thank all the staff for their hard work and all the parents who came to support us.
